Premium Waters

Premium Waters, a major bottled water company in North America, faced significant line balancing problems and instability in their lines. In order to minimize product damage and labor costs, ITW Hartness installed DYNACs at key points in the production line to create a pressureless system. Now, "the plant is producing 30% to 40% more product... with less raw materials, in less space, and 40% less energy costs" since DYNACs have been added to the line (Bernie Zarda, Senior Vice President).

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company

As Sierra Nevada began an expansion in Mills River, North Carolina, they prioritized the design and installation of a new bottling hall dedicated to producing up to 600,000 barrels a year. In order to optimize the automation processes and meet production requirements, Sierra Nevada formed a partnership with ITW Hartness to provide accumulation and case packing solutions.

Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka prides themselves on a "One Source" production concept, meaning vodka made at one distillery from one wheat field and one deep water well. As a leader in the spirits industry, this "One Source" method quickly led to crowded production lines. In need of equipment with a smaller footprint, close-coupling capabilities, and improved line efficiency, Absolut Vodka partnered with ITW Hartness to install several DYNACs. Now, the lines run with enhanced productivity, less product damage, and at 18% improved efficiency.

Bericap

As a leading manufacturer of plastic closures with continual growth, Bericap became face to face with the need to incorporate automation. Running previously on manpower alone, Bericap partnered with ITW Hartness to install Robotic Palletizers, tripling the amount of pallets per hour produced.

New Glarus Brewing Company

New Glarus, a Wisconsin-based brewing company, began working with ITW Hartness out of a need to eliminate physically taxing and strenuous functions in their production line. Originally, as pallets of glass came into the facility, employees were lifting these 12 lb. cases themselves. ITW Hartness offered a Depalletizing solution that not only eliminated the physical strains employees were facing, but also increased productivity, efficiency, and continuous operation stability.

The Wine Group

As one of the largest wine producers in the world, The Wine Group relies on line solutions that can meet the constant consumer demand with reliability, efficiency, and flexibility. As they sought after a company who could "do it all", ITW Hartness became that core partner. With the addition of ITW Hartness Case Packers, Accumulators, and Laning solutions, the Wine Group has seen 10% efficiency gains and 95% less waste on their lines.
