The Hartness Top GripVeyor system conveys empty plastic containers at speeds of up to 300 feet per minute or 90 meter per minute while gripping the containers by the neck. The proprietary technology is ideal for empty, unstable containers. It provides a more flexible, gentle alternative to traditional air conveyor.

The base chain design utilizes a multi-drive system to run hundreds of feet of conveyor on one chain. The new system offers several important advantages: elimination of changeover, elimination of container to container contact, and low long-term cost of operation.

The Top GripVeyor completely eliminates the need for high power blowers – 100 feet [30m] of Top GripVeyor requires only 2 HP compared to the same length of an air conveyor system, which can require up to 20 HP.

It also provides the added benefit of lower maintenance costs by eliminating expensive HEPA filters, which must be changed regularly on air conveyors.

Perhaps the biggest benefit is the fact that the Top GripVeyor allows for automatic changeovers. Because the grippers are self adjusting, there is no need for time consuming manual adjustments or costly pneumatic “automatic” adjustments.
